What is Touch Screen ??

We all heard that I have touch screen phone, mobile, pc but what actually is touch screen?

Touch screen is an input device just like any mouse or keyboard. It’s a display screen which is sensitive to human touch. Touch sensor, a controlling board and a software driver is the basic requirement of any touch screen.

Why touch screen has been made? 

We all know we have mouse, keyboard but what is the need of touch screen. Actually, there are so many people who admitted that they find difficulty in handling mouse and keyboard. That the main reason why touch screen made. There is also another reason is the term portability.

There are different types of touch screen technology are available.  Few shortly discussed below:

Resistive is composed of several layers.

Surface Acoustic wave technology (SAW) uses ultrasonic waves that pass over the touch screen panel.

Capacitive technology’s panel is coated with indium tin oxide that conducts a continuous electrical current over the sensor.

Infrared method uses an array of vertical and horizontal IR sensors that detect the interruption of a modulated light beam near the surface of the screen.

Strain Gauge is used to determine deflection when the screen touched.

Nokia 808 Pureview

Nokia recently launch a smartphone which more than a tag named smartphone. The best hardware specification we have seen until now. Gorilla glass 4-inch AMOLED display makes it more better look. This smartphone has a single core 1.3GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 16 GB inbuilt storage, availability of micro SD card which makes the storage up to 32GB along with 1440mAh battery that makes this a super smartphone. Best part feature of this phone is the 41megapixel Carl Zeiss camera which takes the high definition photos and full HD recordings. Almost all the smartphone in today’s market has 5mp or 8mp camera. But this smartphone has broken the camera specification of all the smartphones.

Regarding with OS (Operating System) , this smartphone powered by Symbian OS i.e. Symbian Belle. Release date of this smartphone is not announce yet. But there is a speculation is that this phone may arrive in the mid of this year.  Enrich thing about this phone is the powerhouse camera specification makes this phone outstanding performance in the near future.

Cloud Computing:

Cloud Computing sounds different, but question arises that what is Cloud Computing? Actually the cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product. In cloud computing all the resources, software and information are shared . This also resolve the difficulties of user to access data easily without knowing that where the data is stored. This makes the cloud computing interesting. Cloud computing ensue that user didn’t feel that they are using data, software locally or at user end. Another plus point for this cloud computing is the light weight application which use data that is stored on server at a remote location. This computing makes lots of business helps to store data at one place actually works as a cloud and can be access anywhere. Cloud computing always comes in mind when you think about what IT companies wants: increase capacity and add capabilities without investing in new infrastructure. Cloud computing gives real time service over the internet. Hope this small article throw a light on cloud computing.

NASA founds a new earth object which may hit the earth in 2040:

Sounds like Armageddon 2040, NASA identifies an object coming towards the earth which may be reach after the 28 years that is 2040. UN scientist team are working on this how to divert the asteroid. But still scientists not measure the asteroid because asteroid is far range of the measuring capability. Scientist says that may be they will measure this asteroid in 2013. Speculation about its width is about 460ft. UN team finding the solution to destroy the asteroid. They also think about the nuclear weapon to destroy the asteroid.

This asteroid named Asteroid 2011 AG5 will pass near to our earth in 2040. The chance of hitting is 1 in 625. We also know this earlier that how dinosaurs wiped out by asteroid which was 9 miles wide 60 million years ago.

iPhone 5

After the huge success of iPhone 4s , apple is thinking about iPhone 5 which will may be available in summers.

Yes you read right.

 iPhone 5 is on the way to launch. Apple iPhone 5 prototype shows that it has larger display then its previous model i.e. iPhone 4s and iPhone 4. It also has a ultra thin design which is good to see. Another feature is laser keyboard. Best feature among all is the Holographic display. Apple had just announced the sale of 37 million iPhones . This shows how popular are iPhones! But there is a big question about its 4G compatibility as the competitors already made market in 4G. Also there is a bad news, people who think they can use micro USB port they can’t use that feature because there is a change in dock connector. That dock connector is actually a micro dock connector. It also affects the third party vendors for cables or different tools. This changing feature may help to gain more profit to the company but what about the consumers …? Hope this new iPhone deserves the best specification.

Compiling and Linking

C is a programming language developed by AT & T’s Bell Laboratories of USA in 1972. It was designed and written by a man named Dennis Ritchie.

Starting with well known words, “Most good programmers do programming not because they expect to get paid or get admiration by public, but because it is fun to program.” 

During the studies it has been seen that most of the student  knows how to write a code and run them into the program but they do not know the basic behind the programming. Compiling and Linking is the topic that helps to enlighten the basic around the C programming. 

Description: C program code is saved with .C extension (eg.  filename.c). After saving the code, the inbuilt header  files (STDIO.H,CONIO.H) need to be included for using certain predefined  functions. Then, after it is compiled and converted to object file (filename.obj), the library files and inbuilt object files are linked together to form an executable file (filename.exe).
